The fell of Aristébano(572m) is flanked by the mountains of the Estoupo and Silvallana, next to the boundary that divides geographically the councils of Tineo and Valdés. It is proud, green and pleasant and it is located between the depressions that form the gullies of Aristébano and Agüera. This fell enjoys a privileged position from which you can see a landscape that is slowly slipping towards the coast in the midst of an extraordinary beauty.

The feast of La Vaqueirada is celebrated on the last Sunday of July in Aristébano. The feast is declared as International Tourist Interesting, being the most interesting event the vaqueira wedding, where a couple go with their outfit in the carts. There are also typical dances of this group of people. This dances has incredible strength and power.  Rogelia la vaqueira immortalized this dances throughout Europe, with the rhythm of  the payietcha (pan) and the tambourine.
