On this week the processions  have a special attraction, reaching its climax on Holy Thursday, with the rise of the Nazarene, at night, from the church to the shrine of the Atalaya. Along the liturgical content, Easter is for Luarca the advance of the summer, filling the streets with thousands of visitors who come to join in the religious acts and to enjoy a great atmosphere.

EASTER PROCESSIONS:  
    
Tuesday - At 7 pm, from the Atalaya, will fall in procession, the holy images of the Nazarene, La Dolorosa, San Juan and Veronica, by the usual route - Lighthouse Road and Paseo del Muelle - to the Parish Church, then a Solemn Novena in honor of Jesus and the Holy Nazareno Mass are helded.

Palm Sunday - At 11:30 am, in the park is the Benediction Palm procession with the Borriquilla Pass, following the usual route: -Park, Uria, The Lighthouse, La Farola, Bridge Crossing, and  Pilarín and pastor. At the Parish Church Mass will be celebrated.

Holy Wednesday - At 21:30 and from the parish church, there is a procession with the Christ of Forgiveness  which is preceded by the venerated image of La Dolorosa, San Juan and Veronica, walking through the streets of Párroco Camino, Pilarín, La Farola, Bridge Crossing, Uria, park and Párroco Camino to the Parish Church.

Holy Thursday - At 21:30 people rise in procession with the venerated image of Good Jesus of Nazareth, this will be preceded by different Christs of some families from Luarca. The traditional route is from the parish church, through the streets Párroco Camino, The Park, Uria, La Farrola, and bridge crossing where  the ascent starts through the streets of La Esperanza and Carril to the Chapel Lane of La Atalaya.

Holy Friday - 21:30 Holy Burial Procession with the hallowed images of the Veronica, San Juan, La Dolorosa, The Christ of Forgiveness, The Virgin of Sorrows and the urn carrying the Reclining Christ.

Holy Saturday - At 7.30 am from the Parish Church the procession of the venerated images Soledad de La Dolorosa, San Juan and Veronica, makes the tour of Paseo del Muelle and lighthouse road to La Atalaya.
At 22.30, in the parish church the solemn Easter is celebreted. At the end of it, the last procession with the new image of the risen Christ (acquired in 2007), which depart from the Church via the Puente del Beso to the Barrio de la pescadería, continuing down the street by the Caleros street around the Park, to resume in the Párrco Camino street to the Parish Church.
