Costume parades, street bands festival, the election of the queen of the Carnival, and the funeral of the sardine are some of the activities of the carnival time where fine dining is guaranteed. During those days the town offers the famous Antroxu menu: embutido , picadillo, pote (stew), medio gochu por cabeza (pork), frixuelos (asturian pancakes) and arroz con leche rice pudding.
