First and second beaches of Luarca

A wide bay sheltered from the attacks of the sea by two breakwaters houses the so-called first and second beaches of Luarca. They constitute a single sand crowded in summer time and belonging to the protected landscape of the West Coast.
The beaches are distinctly urban but retaining to the present their natural charm.
From there you can contemplate the leaving of the see from the fishing port and the boat port of the town, which at one time had an important trade with Castilla..
