Sand and pebbles beaches appear in a continuous flow as discontinuities of the landscape in a scenic shoreline dotted with towering cliffs, giving the coast from Valdés a certainly exceptional variety and uniqueness. This extensive coastline is bounded on the east by the Cabo River and west by the Barayo River. The council of Valdes has lots of beaches that offer all sorts of possibilities for who want to enjoy them.

Within these possibilities, it is necessary to differentiate between beaches noted for its tourist attractions, suitable for swimming and recreation, and others which, due to their scenic or fishing interesting, or because of their high ecological value, deserve exceptional care in maintaining their environment.

Barayo Beach

The councils of Navia and Valdés are limited by the river Barayo, which draws sharp meanders before his mouth. The Beach is frequented by naturists.

It is a beach of great beauty and landscape value of nearly 600 meters long. The coves situated on the west are frequented by naturists.
